Our pricing is based on the number of developers, which refers to all active GitHub contributors you add into Haystack. We define an active contributor as someone who has committed code to your organization's repositories in the past 30 days.

Do I need a credit card to start a free trial?
No, you don't need a credit card to start your free trial.
Is it secure?
Haystack does not store, read or access any of your source code. We simply use metadata returned from standard APIs such as timestamps, titles, descriptions, tags, etc - so your code is always safe.
Does it work with GitHub Enterprise, Bitbucket or GitLab?
Haystack currently supports GitHub, Bitbucket and GitLab. We also have support for self-hosted installations, including GitHub Enterprise and GitLab Enterprise, on our Enterprise plan. If your VCS isn't currently supported, feel free to reach out to us at sales@usehaystack.io
